What is the point of the Page Rank ????????!!!!

I have seen many webmasters doing their best to rise the PR of their website.

What is the point if you have 1000 directories linking to you if you don't have a single visit from them?

 

The more sites linking to you, the higher ranking on many search engines you will be on. So 1k Directories linking to you will help your ranking greatly, thus you will get more traffic!

There really is no point to pagerank. My suggestion is you shouldn't look to hard into because these days too many people are focusing on it when they could be doing better things for their sites.

PR doesn't mean you get more traffic, it just shows how many backlinks you have.

PR doesn't give your better SERP rankings.

People only use PR to sell links so other people can gain pagerank.

Build you site, do the right things, and you will see the little green bar rise without having to worry about the updates and such.

 

Pagerank determines your ranking if there is too much competition for the keywords you target only on google serps, many people have different purposes in building links!!
But it's always useful to have 1000 links from web directories even if you dont get traffic from them.
PR Doesnt give you traffic and SERPS results tho as said aforementionned

Thats true also, youll get more income from your site if its a PR6 than if its a PR2
