Building my first email list

As part of my next campaign, I need a service whom they can take care of my mailing list. The service should allow my visitors to subscribe (double opt in). Once subscribed I can send them an 2-3 in sequence. Say as soon as they subscribe they receive their first email, 2 days later their second email and 4 days later their third email!

Can you please suggest some services? I need reliable ones!

    Thank you very much

Aim using www.sendstudio.info as I can hostit on my server and set multiple campaigns with no limits per subscribers or any monthly fees other than my hosting plan. SendStudio require one time investment (this is recommended when you plan to do email marketing for at least 3-6 months). SendStudio I like for advanced stats and advanced reports features. I don't need to pay anything extra for extra campaigns or extra users - the application suports unlimited subscribers to your campaign and you can send unlimited campaigns; most important, it is 100% CAN SPAM ACT 2003 certified.

Aweber is one of the best. It easy to set up and use. Aweber has a blog with practical tips at responders.aweber.com. Cost: about $20 per month (unlimited autoresponders), but there are discounts and cheaper options.

I know aweber is good. I also use SendStudio because of it's rich features and advanced monitor reports...
If you are a begginer, I recommend to start with Awerber as they are more easy to use...

Personally I use Getresponse.com since the beginning of December. Their service is reliable and fast.

I prefer Aweber.com -- I started out with constantcontact and it was pretty user friendly, good customer service, etc...I just found that it got to be really expensive. It's very affordable at first, but as your list grows to anything of value, you begin to pay MORE AND MORE...and more..:)

Aweber certainly has all the features a marketer would wish for. I think there is a one month free trial offer but
    google it and confirm.

Almost all the marketers use aweber nowadays because of the high percentage of confirmed mail deliveries.

Definitely check out Aweber, but you have to be serious because it's not cheap. Also, Email Aces is gaining popularity fast.

I don't think it's that hard to find a script that you could customize your self. I found one that didn'y cost me nothing. i has a subscribe and unsubscribe option.
here is the link to get the script: http://scubadivingcalculators.com/simpli-easy-newsletter.php
if you need any help please let me know.
I use for a mailing list of over 5000 people.

there are several disadvantages with a script. You have to make sure that your hosting company allows you to send emails, throttling of emails etcetc...

Aweber seems to be the hassle free solution to all of this..
