    i also notice that there's something wrong with the PR toolbar but when I check my site to LivePr, my PR didn't change

    That is the lamest, most awful comment I have seen in DP after a long time... well done...

    Google is an end user based engine... It believes in quality not quantity... most webmasters hate it cause they are money suckers themselves... but honestly speaking, as a webmaster... and a kinda non profit site... I think... I believe... and I respect in the Google ways.... why? Cause they are not doing it for us... they are doing it for the PEOPLE... WE ARE NOT "THE PEOPLE".... We are people, serving "the people" (the mass, the consumers, each one of them who uses the internet and is not a webmaster)... If you really only do "webmastering" (if thats even a word) to make money then its a shame... cause I believe one should be a webmaster not to make money from the people... BUT to serve the people and if possible, then make some earning out of it in the legal way...

    Seeing your signatures, it is quite damn clear that what you are saying is based on what you do... so toodles.. Ciao!


    And as for the PR update... dont know if its toolbar PR you are talking about but the dynamic PR... I didnt experience anything as of till now... will keep ya all posted if something does change... positive or negative...

    google sent in 2005 a Christmas present to me for my MAFs and 6 months after canceled my account without any explication.
    They are dodgy, mate, other than "end user based"...

    linkvault, linkworth, receivelinks and the like are all great ways to get a website PR0'ed. There have been a number of rounds of PR0ing of websites. Links out to such schemes seems as much part of it as receiving those links.

    One of my sites has dropped in Serps from page 2 to 12 for one of the search terms, yet another it is still sitting in top 4 and all links seem to have gone, happened on Monday, I will wait and see, this happened last month as well and it came back - don't see any PR update as yet though.

    well... which tool are you using to check PR?
    some times online PR checker doesn't work. this is my experience.
    try any other website to check PR.
