A handful of beads and some tobacco? What do you think editors are, Indians? Even then, I really do not think they would fall for such things any more. They learned the lessons in land sales a few hundred years back ;)

That is not a joke. Insulting editor with such offers...will not lead to something good.
Will be better IMHO to find a way to give your excuses to crowbar :D

Dmoz? Once again we're talking about DMOZ. It's funny, almost all of the bad rep I've given out, and gotten, has been from such a discussion. Sure, getting listed is easy. It just takes so long that the listing becomes irrelevant before it even shows up. I've said before that DMOZ is becoming irrelevant, but that's not entirely accurate. It is becoming irrelevant to anything related to business as it just doesn't react fast enough. DMOZ is over, and no, I don't care if you refuse to list my site, or ban me forever. Just pray I'm never in a position to buy you out and shut you down. Yes, that is always a possibility, and it would almost be worth it.

Nothing you say on any forum will either hurt or help your chances of being listed, nor would it be a reason to ban you. :)

Buy her and shut her down, bro, I got lots of other things I can do with my free time, ;).

Sligthly disagree with crowbar. Bribe attempt for example can hurt.

I got my site listed. I remember I entered it, but then forgot all about it. Now I searched for my site and saw it on dmoz.org :)

    So now I'm happy.

I had a dream last night...an angel came and told me that I had been waiting patiently and that he would take a look. Does a bell ring when an editor gets their wings?

I'm still trying to figure out the best catagories for my site(s). I tried submitting my company site to my local city, but got an error, and have not tried to resubmit it. The rest of the sites cover such a large area, I will have to do more research.

Within Regional, we list websites where they are based, not by area covered. Suggest your website to its locality or to a higher level if it has branches in several localities.

It helps customers to find you and aides credibility if there is a street address on the website.

You apparently had the kind of unique content we were looking for, :). It's not a matter of deserving a listing, it's a matter of whether the Directory needs a certain site for a particular category.

We build categories, not all sites are needed, :).
