Why I like Yahoo web hosting

I cannot say for all using Yahoo web hosting, but in my case, Yahoo has given me this 'extra' benefit ..

My website has been listed on top of the number 1 spot in the Yahoo search results page for a very long time ... (right above the search results, there is a 'Also try ... ' and my site is there)

I have tested by reducing the total web pages to just one, and it still shows up on top :D

It could be due to the unique title of the site, or it could be the fact the I am a Yahoo customer, I don't really know. But hosting in Yahoo is the most expensive of all the hosting sites.

I believe your site would be there regardless if you were a yahoo hosting customer or not.

I second the immediate statement above. I thought Google was going to start a web hosting company? Perhaps that would make Yahoo to drop price and allow cpanel and mysql.

It's really not positive feedback of Yahoo hosting. It's simply someone who thinks because he/she is hosting at Yahoo he/she is getting better position in serps. :)

No they don't delete clients just because you changed hostings. I have two sites on Yahoo... But I quit because they have poor tech support.

Im still in their directories though

I have free hosting for some of my sites and support reply in less than 6 (in most cases 3) hours each time.

I'm sorry but there is nothing good about Yahoo's domain hostin service.

They hold your domain hostage and they own it not you! Period!

I have heard posts about people who have domains they want to tranfer and they give ways, which don't work to transfer domains to another registar.

Especially if we have clients which says they own their domain and have not paid for yahoo to host it. you can't even login to the account to move it without paying them again.

Yahoo you reap what you sow and you will not be a hosting company which does business with people for long because the secret of your business practises are being revealed now finally!

    My two cents for free!

    Software and application development company!
