    Nice post, I've been using google reader to keep up to date with all the news in my various niches. The one hugely helpful thing I've come to find is noticing when my niches become over saturated.

    40 headlines from 40 blogs all blogging about the same thing... it becomes depressing after awhile.

    But then again you can see what they're all not blogging about, which makes up for it.

    Yes, I agree. Like today being Blog Day or the sort...I saw about 5 blogs mentioned it.

    Using RSS adequately is quite useful indeed. I just started about a week ago.

    Well, we both have different approaches. I subscribe to competitors blog, while you unsubscribe from blogs that...well...aren't interesting anymore!
