If anyone is willing and kind enough, I'd really appreciate any suggestions for my website/blog. I do have testimonials on the way. I'm not sure what to do for "updates" to keep the site "alive". Do you see reasons why some people would leave if they had any need for writing services? Thanks
Hi vgal, Liked your site. The little points I should mention - 1. You must include a xml site map 2. Consider inserting some 'meta' (description, keywords) in the html in between <head> and </head> 3. Submit the URL to Google, Yahoo, MSN and other search engines. 4. Increase the content. 5. Your homepage must emphasize on the word 'copywriting' for better SEO as you are a copy writer; but it didn't came for a single time! 6. Track your visitors. You may consider www (dot) statcounter (dot) com Try correcting these and I am sure you will find a better PR.
Thank you for your replies. Lightess - I am going to get one just as soon as I can. Infofreek - I will work on everything you mentioned. I hadn't included copywriting because it's my understanding that is more of a sales page type of writing. Am I wrong on that note? Thank you!
Liked the overall site design - it has a professional look to it, but to carry the professional feel you should have your own domain. I think the introduction text on the main page needs to pop a little more to be easier to read. Larger font or something to make it come off the page easier. To answer your specific question on why some may leave if they need a writer. I don't really see a reason as far as the site goes, are your rates competitive?
Hi Vgal ,like the look of your blog, nice design and good colours. I also like the pic of that handsome girl with the cute dog. One advice get your own domain and own hosting. Well done!
