SEO for phpbb

What is the best way to do good SEO for the phpbb board?

To bad majority of the site isn't in english but their pre-modded phpbb package is the best way to go; or you can attach their mods on directly to your current build.

I tried to install this package, but the install instructions are very sloppy, I couldnt do it. I consider myself experienced when it comes to install stuff, but this is really a mess. The package looks very good though.

EDIT: That was another package I got actually, will try this now

 

Let me know, I've used this pre-mod over 30x now for clients.

 

Actally what I tried to use was adv_phpbb3_mod_rewriteV0-4-0.

 

The advanced can be a moderators nightmare with the thread topic titles some people make

 

I installed your suggestion, but when I clicked on the posts the css didnt work. The links on the post page didnt work either.
