very good buy............just wait to cash it in when ebay want it, you could make some serious money there. Then again I am not too sure if you will get problems with the Trademark, but you shouldnt. good luck.
trademark problems, because it is trademark, coz if the name would be some dictionary word, then you could contest, but ebay. is made word by company, may have problems, there are some words like , sedo.uk.com, avaliable, definately why they are left out is because people dont it , because no reseller want it, due to being trademark problems, and as soon as you are going to develop it m then you may run in to serious problems, unless some lawyer concern. Not a great buy, it is great trouble. Just think of it, why left out by such a great domainers who are on hunt those great names. Regards, and good luck.
Waste of money, but maybe not if you forward the traffic to your ebay affiliate/referral link via cloaking until eBay takes the domain from you..
maybe ebay will pay you a couple hundred dollars to take it off your hands with no trouble. Other than that though, you face a long path filled with potential bumps lol. TM issues are not something to get intok, but depending on how much you spent it could be well worth it.
That is a scary area to get into. Is it likely eBay will come and buy it? Is it a trademark issue if the domain never gets developed?
I have a different advice. Ebay is not interested in this domain, they would have bought it. But if you make some kind of concurrence to their business you will receive a letter from their lawyer. Otherwise, if you can bring them visitors by any mean, you can continue with the domain. Take note this domain will be favored by Google on the related country (bz? britain?)
Ebay doesn't care, expect a cease and desist letter as soon as your site goes on air. They really are tough cookies when it comes to trademarks. They don't have to pay you anything for the domain as it simply is their trademark. I burnt my fingers once on a trademarked domain, and will never buy one again, it's a waste of time, effort and money.
I doubt eBay will want to get it. This is trademark infrigement, and you should try to delete it in the immediate time. Good luck
Develop another auction, and forward this domain traffic to your website !!! Or park it on parked.com sedo.com or godaddy.com !! Excellent domain ! You will get revenue if do it smart way .
Make a domain auction website.,, Make really good use of it before Ebay comes to get it from your hands for free.
Get rid of it, and whatever you do do NOT create an auction site on it as that could be seen as phishing. Just my 2 cents.
