I hate this stuff. (Ads Spy) Why does it installs automatically? We don't like that someone gathers information of our adsense account!
Well, this stuff is absolutely legal. You can do this research yourself by checking all sites in the web for someone ID. And it will be legal. It's not interesting in the case of 1 id. but when we have a lot of - it,s ok. Adsspy get url's from SeoDigger index - top 2 millions domains in google search... then they check these urls for adsense and YPN and Amazon IDs. All this is a public information. They don't suggest any ideas about site's owners etc. just sites with same IDs.

Every version we add in SeoQuake more or less new functions, so we activate them when we think they are interesting enough. You can enable, disable any SeoQuake function or plugin, or even write your own. As for me - it's really usefull.
How if I obsuficate the adsense code in javascript so it looks like <script language="javascript"> document.write( unescape( '%70%61%67%65%20%6F%6E%65' ) ); </script> Code (markup):
1. This could be against Adsense policy. 2. Scraper can use real browser and run its own greasemonkey-like script to extract values, in that case obfuscation like this will not work. 3. If your site is already in database it will stay there regardless of new modifications. If you have a popular site, it is probably already "browsed" by ownerspy.com.
I hate this new feature. If you know the owner for one site, you know the owner for all other sites. Before, it would be virtually impossible for one to find my other sites. I want things to be kept private and now thanks to adspy it's taking that away from me.
is it possible to block ADSPY SPIDERS from indexing our sites and adsense accounts? Any know of all the IPs ADSPY uses in indexing websites? I see a lot of comments from firefox users here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3036 obviously not everyone is happy with adspy. Some notable comments.

Well., Ads Spy is something like a bot which crawls all our websites and collects our publisher ID and say if our competitors need which all sites we own with that publisher ID, that site owner will sell our data for some charges.., this should be banned by google people.
yes, i guess it crawls sites when your using seoquake. we can individually block adspy using IPs if we know what IPs they are using.
To be frank, i donrt see the SENSE of adspy... I dont see it useful. Or should i say, i dont know its use.
