As everyone knows DP is one of the largest, if not the largest webmaster forums online. Almost all webmasters know about it, and many people such as myself have learned a lot from it's vast list of members. So how about holding a Yearly Digital Point Webmaster Conference in Chicago? Or New York? I'm sure that a lot of people would want to attend.
It would be a really cool idea and I would attend but there are lot of users that are around the world, the United States makes up a small percentage of the users so I don't know what kind of turn out you would get.
Well webmasters are rich, they'll find a way to get there. OMG I just got a better idea! How about an online conference? like they would get a special server and it would be live and people could like chat to each other. To prevent spam there would be like a 1000 post count or more.
Second that I'll definately come for Yearly Digital Point Webmaster Conference in Chicago,New York or whereever if shawn pays for the trip because its very costly for me to come there from India DON.
It would be also cool if there are various chapters of DP in various countries. That way all DP members will truly feel that they are part of the community.
As much as I'd enjoy it, I doubt it would work. Shawn runs a forum which is fairly hassle free. The organisation and effort required to host a conference is crazy. So many costs. He'd have to charge for people to attend. Also theres many europeans and asians that post on these boards, I expect there are more of us than there are americans. it just wouldnt be practical to have it in america i dont think.
Ok, it's time for Shawn to leave his opinion on this... "Not gonna happen" is most likely to be the answer! LOLOLOL Sure. Nahh that's is too much, don't push it. LOL Nop, that would be too crowded.
