Picture of French First Lady Auctioned

The nude photo of first lady of France, Carla Bruni, was auctioned off at 30 times the estimated price - at £45,000.

The money that is obtained from the auction will go to charity. It was in 1993, when she was a highly-sought model when the picture was taken by a photographer.

 

I don't think it is worth that much.

Surely if you just googled it then you would find it anyway.

Then again, it is for charity. Would you need permission to auction it?

 

Never bother about the inflated auctioned price as the proceeds are going to the charity.

 

Did Sarkozy participate in the bidding process ?

The difference here from other models is that she's the wife of the French President, which makes her picture much more valuable.

WOw waht a great photo of the first lady. I wonder if Bill Clinton has photos of Hillary. LOL. I know the former first lady Onasis nude fetched a hefty sum back in the 60's or seventies boughten by Hustler.

Most of top models have nude photos... it's unusual for a first lady to do that, but personally I don't mind

 

That depends if Hillary has been a model before, in order to fetch that kind of price tag

 

at least they aren't slutty pictures, they lood pretty artistic. The french are not nearly as uptight as the rest of the world.

I think the picture on the first page with that wet outfit on is more tasteful than the actual nudes for some reason.

It depends very much on a personal perspective. Some feels it's arts that they appreciate, hence it's not the nudity that matters.
