I was wondering, is there a way to filter the ads that show on my site? For example if I don't want ads that's mature, i.e dating, etc. Can I filter these ads? Thanks.

I'm not sure about google adsense filteration, but I heard one of my friend contacted google about adult ads and Google replied and adult ads were removed from his website.

You sure can filter the ads you don't want to be displayed. Just log in to your adsense account, go to adsense setup, click the competitive ad filter and block the unwanted ads. It is simple:)

To remove ads by categories, I am not too sure. However, you are able to filter out URLs that you don't want to show on your site.

but how do you know which url to filter. I mean I have a new search. and people search it like everyday using different key terms. Each of them see different ads (and thus, different urls). how can I filter that when I don't even see the same thing they see?

then paste it somewhere else in the numbers and letters there will be a different adress
    it is the ad's address

Sure, use the competitive filter. You will find it in the AdSense control panel.
It will take a while for the sites to stop appearing.

It would be nice if we can filter out certain low pay specific keywords.

hmm. I see. But let's say I don't want ads about dating, there's no way I can get ready of all of them!? I mean, you can say that I just have to avoid including any content that deals with dating on my site. But if you have a search, then it's not the same. someone just searches about dating, and so many different ads comes. and if you block 1,2,5,10, other ads about dating will pop up. right?
