i currently have a blog and i have a question about the ads/images TOS by google adsense. what i am currently doing is putting ads inside the posts. 1 above my pictures and 1 below them.. the ads are within the post and have no borders. is this against googles TOS?
What the TOS is trying to forbid is misleading users to click on adsense ADs. For Example, I remember someone who had a eBay listing with a picture that looked like it was a video entrance (like YouTube)... when you clicked on it, what really happened was you had invoked the watch option which increased their rating for such things... no video no further info. Now, that is not adsense but it is a sample of blatant misleading the user. Good Luck! If you are not trying to "trick" the user, but just making the adsense convienently available... you could be okay.
Especially of you have no text in there, just posting an image in close proximity to the ads, they dont like this.
yes, i am not trying to promote misclicks, it is just setup so that the ad is borderless 250x250 inside the the blog post. so if you can visualize... Blog Title Ad(no border 250 x 250 Centered) Post Image(s) Post Text/Content 2nd Ad (no order 250 x 250 Centered) is this layout still against TOS?
Don't even think about putting images next to your AdSense ads. You'll get canned faster than a tin of peas.
Anything misleading is against the AdSense ToS. Do visitors associate the ads with the images? Then you have a problem. Otherwise it's OK.
Its risky putting Adsense near images. Putting them directly next to them is definately a violation you could get banned for.
Can't really... do it, get a screenshot, undo it, post screenshot here. As on paper, that may just work, as there is not much difference with that, then many of the ads I've seen out there. Then again, it could be like some of the examples I've heard of... so *shrug* Show us and get a better idea of those replying know what they are talking about.
