Review my Blog!

Hey guys,

Around 1 month ago I launched my wrestling blog and the results have been positive so far, the last 2 days I have been getting over 100 UV daily. Anyway, I basically submit to digg, stumbleupon and del.icio.us. Any other ideas on how I can get further traffic? I am not the best at SEO but am trying to make more content rich posts.

I recently read that people fake feedburner stats so people would subscribe more. Hope this is not your case
Anyways the site looks great, ads placed real nice (like menu) and the fresh content is realy the key
keep up daily updates

 

Well with the feedburner thing I am a little annoyed lol. I tried to change the darn thing so it would go back to 0 but no luck. Ah well, I am not trying to show that I have 25k subscribers, because I don't - thanks for the review

- Get a header
- Get rid of those "Advertise Here" 125x125s
- Remove the FeedBurner image or replace with an actual one
- Try to blog about new news. Your first entry says "Kurt Angle recently did an interview" - That interview is one year old.

 

you should remove the borders of your adsense ads.

I am not much of a wrestling fan either but you blog is good. Seems well designed and the content is there.

put the categories at the top, and the advertisements lower
put only 1 "put your ad here"
1 full ad slot and 5 empty one, make it look kind of desparate

 

nice layout and overall look
but I am having trouble to like the layout of the rss feeder

the icon is great but its bottom part seemed to be cut off as if bottom part is under "search bar" beneath it.

 

Ahhh yes, I know what you mean . I actually created a RSS button, the red one you can see, it was actually too big and went under the email subscription tab. In IE it looks fine and it isn't a big worry so I will just leave it
