Good point, but this is a breakthrough for all of us in the domain industry. Especially for .net investors.
It should not?? It should fetch whatever the buyer wants to pay. We are talking about "END USERS" here. Just like the laws of science cease to exist within a black hole, "laws of domains" cease to exist with end users... (might be a little exaggerated, but the point is clear).
i still think it's funny you people think it's real. anyone could setup an auction with reserve high and have people shill it for press... it's just poor form though and i really hope these auction houses start stepping it up in terms of cracking down on this sort of crap. just like traffic auctions where people bid right up to the reserve and quit.
Perhaps the pizza.net is owner of pizza.info. Jack up the price in godaddy so he can sold pizza.info for $13k
because of pizza.com sale n pizza.net auction many domainers go register a lot pizza domains...have to warn the newbies dun just register tons n hoping for big money out of it
Did the transfer actually take place for either this or pizza.com? I still find it hard to believe pizza.com makes enough in adsense to justify 2.6 fing million lol. The forum is dead and it didnt have much traffic up until a few months ago yet 2.6 million? I dont understand...
I just typed pizza into google and pizza.com and pizza.net dont even make the first page. Yet they are worth millions?
Not for me I double checked. I get wikipedia then pizzapizza.com then bostonpizza.com and other companies but pizza.com and pizza.net are nowhere on my first page.
Its definately on Google.com, when you clicked the link did it go to your local google, like google.co.uk/.in etc?
Your right it keeps redirecting to google.ca and wont even let me see rsults under google.com(kind of annoying). Still odd that a multimilliondollar domain cant make the first page in countries other than the US.
Yeah, I can view Google.com and I see pizza.net fourth and pizza.com in sixth - shame how a multi-million dollar domain name could be complimented with such a hideous site (in both instances!)
