    I would also add specific headers to pages linking to expired products and so on, like returning 404 or 301 redirects to new products if they are replaced by updated versions of current ones... guess you got the idea...

    It depends on the site itself - is it editable via CMS?, or is it custom coded?

    Either way, you need to a template that pulls the data in and generates the pages in the following manner:

    <title>Keyword/Product Description</title>
    <meta tags - Keywords and Description tags - should be filled with information from db>
    <h1>Product name</h1>
    Product details...

    i heard something like URL rewriting works for dynamic site SEoing.. where u rewrite ur dynamic urls to static ones.. any idea how it's done.. im not a technical guy so please elaborate.... thnx

    There is no more much effrots need to optimize a dynamic site. Just follow all the rules as you do for static site. One most imporatnt thing you cud do, as someone said earlier if you have more session ids in your site URL then try to remove them & make your site pages URL short. As you said earlier URL rewriting. Try to give link each page to other means try to keep interlinking strong. That's all
