Title is pretty self explanatory. Here are the niches: Internet Marketing Weight Loss Real Estate Personal Development Stocks Poker Health & Fitness Cooking & Food Gardening Music Which would you choose if you were going to have a website in any of these categories? The site will sell an ebook based on the niche. Any thoughts?
I would do poker and cooking and food because I love all those. The others dont interest me. Do what you love. If your only looking to make a quick buck, go with real estate....
Why would real estate make a quick buck? I wouldn't do poker because some places don't let you advertise gambling sites, but it depends what your strategy is.
I agree with picking one that I have an interest in, such as poker, but I also agree that a poker site is more difficult to adveritse. I also like IM but i am guessing the refund rates in this niche are higher than the others. I am thinking Health and Fitness is the way to go. Reason I am asking is becaues I have an opportunity to have a website built for me in one of these niches. Rocked, stocked, and ready to make a killing.
Fitness is good because there's so much to learn, people who are already researching it will probably be likely to click your ads too. I'm really into fitness and I click ads on fitness sites quite often.
Health and Fitness - people are always going to be overweight in America -therefore you'll always have a new audience to speak to and sell your ebook.
If you've got the right 'angle' - real estate. It's the issue that's in the news, and people are going to be worried about sub prime mortgages, repossessions and loans for a while. If you've got something to offer in that area, then it's a hot topic.
Hey guys! What about the music? I'm just curious because some of the russian webmasters wrote they had some money by selling mp3s. Is there any luck after iTunes? My personal favourite list: Internet Marketing - I've seen many guys over the internet earning money by selling the books how to earn money. Weight Loss, Health & Fitness - always in need but oversaturated Poker - it is the nature of man to always want to win a lot of money without hard working.
I would go with a niche that I am really interested in, it's rather hard to market something you don't care about. I think that you need to be interested, and you need to have some knowledge about your market and your product. That said, I would probably go with either Internet Marketing or Health and Fitness. But I would do some research first to find the competition, because both these niches have a lot of competition and I think it's rather hard to become successful. Jens
I dont know about that one. Health and Fitness might not be over saturated, but do a google search for weight loss. Over 80 million pages returned and page after page of Adwords ads. I think I am going to go with health & fitness - I am actually closing in on the end of my P90X 90 day fitness program EDIT: Nevermind... I thought you said NOT oversaturated
it is getting more and more difficult as it is now frowned upon by alot of search engines but in my opinion and experience poker has to be the one
I'd agree that you'd be better off with something that interests you. It would help if you could brand yourself as an expert in the field. My choices would be health and fitness, personal development, internet marketing and music. Steve DeVane
BUt gamblers (i.e poker players) and general casino hounds are those type of people to go out on a whim and buy the book. Like a snap decision. Although i have a site selling similar gambling products from clickbank and no such luck.
Weight Loss/Health and Fitness - My degree is in that field. I know the most about it. People in America are fat and need to lose weight...
It is a toss up between poker and Health & Fitness. I am developing another membership poker site, and a free premium membership to it would be a great bonus to the new poker product. Ahhhhh decisions decisions... looks like I am going to have to roll the chrome dice Marlboro sent me for my birthday. (I quit smoking almost 4 years ago and they still send me stuff... haha)
I agree with some... Weight Loss, Health & Fitness --- most people will be a product or book, wont use or apply what they learn, months or years later they'll come back and buy again. and Internet Marketing if done right, everyone wants to make money.
