    Jim, I seriously recommend HostDrive.

The owner is a SEO and a long-time DP member.

He will know what you need, before you need it.

Ok, I regged 3 accounts at royaltyhosting and 1 at asmallorange.

I recognize the logo :D, but $10/m is too much when you have 30 sites.

    Thank you all for recommendations.

I was checking backlinks on my sites today and I did wonder why axeq.com was not responding and now I know.

Sorry to see you have been treated like crap by this company, hope you get it sorted.

I lumbered through this, ie., the blog, the MSN chat. While I agree, this guy is a real piece of work, there is an old saying; "you get what you pay for". There are many other old sayings. "If it's too good to be true, it probably is."

I guess what I am trying to say is, looking for unlimited this and unlimited that. Expecting tons of storage space and bandwidth for bargain basement prices is not unreasonable. What is unreasonable, is doing all that and expecting to get anything other than what you experienced.

I'm not saying this to be an ass. I'm saying it because there are tons of well respected web hosts out there that do a fantastic job and should not really be lumped in with bottom feeder hosts like the ones you have dealt with.

I understand you want to get your price as low as possible since you seem to be spreading things all over the place in an effort to make Google happy. I'm of the educated opinion that the whole, IP thing is a farce (but that is another thread).

Anyway, if you paid for the year and they deleted your account prior to your year being up, I know of no TOS that covers this kind of incompetency. That was clearly wrong.

    A few other observations.

Reputable hosts do not contact their clients via MSN messenger for billing issues. Real hosts, will send an email, and or paper (snail mail) invoice/past due notice. Some will even pick up the phone and call you. Messenger services, (third party at that) have no place in conducting business, outside of support issues. An online billing portal, or internal communication system, email, paper, phone, etc. are the preferred methods.

The conversation really sounded like this guy was running one little web server off a dsl line in mom's basement. No, that is not a fair statement. Some of us started our businesses in a garage and or basement at home. Hmmm, this sounds like some part time, one man show, college kid from Malaysia. (I know I will offend someone with that, but hopefully not too many).

On the subject of backing up. I believe he asked what other hosts do, or claimed none do. All reputable ones do. We do. And while we do not guarantee backups, nor do we advertise it, our TOS does not say we do or will. It still indicates that they are "YOUR" responsibility. But, if we screwed up and deleted your account like that, back up or not by you, we would have the files restored from backup instantly. It is not out of the ordinary for someone to screw up and give us a call and say, hey, did you have a backup? We will restore their site for them. Usually for nothing.

My suggestion is when looking for a host, look more for service, reliability, longevity in the industry, and leave price as one of the lower priorities on your list. Those few extra bucks a month could have saved you the lost $50 some per site per week. It would have been worth it.

I should also add - (KVCHosting) their web site under the Contact/Support page lists no phone number and no address. Just an MSN user and ICQ. All I can say is YIKES. What hosting company does not at least have a Phone number or Physical address? This would have been my first warning sign to stay away.

Granted, it is rare anyone ever needs anything other than email or a messenger to communicate, but it is nice to have a phone number and address. Gives some comfort knowing this is an actual established business.

Because many of us that do this have multiple Class C's. So we can easily statically route whatever you want to the box.

    Thank you Jeremy (Mia).

You are certainly right - you get what you pay and that was my mistake ...

I will have you in mind next time I need a reliable host.

Not a problem man. I hope you do well in all your endevors. I hear A Small Orange is top notch.

I hear ya on the price, ie., 30 sites at $10/mo. We really do not have an reseller programs, as our nitch fits more of the onesy/twosy kind of SOHO and up web sites. That is why we recommend using a dedicated server. Then you have full control, can host whatever and as many sites as you want.

Anyway, I don't think you can go wrong with at least one of the ones you have settled on. If you ever have any questions, or want to know about other good hosts in the biz, let me know.

That's a really bad story Jim...

I saw his site and I read:

"Founder & Owner Steve J only likes to see his clients happy. That's why at KVCHosting we offer affordable prices and outsanding customer service."

Never trust a hosting website with typos :(
