How to submit my website to Major Search Engines?

I have one website, but dont know how to submit my website to Major Search Engines?

 

You don't have to. Just get a non-nofollow backlink from any page that's already indexed, and they'll find you.

I would advice you to submit it to directories and concentrate on building back links rather than search engine submission.

That's true since SEs crawls evey links that a site has. If the SEs index that site and you link to that site then SEs will visit again that site and surely included your site to be indexed...

 

Generally SE finds the website Automatically when the links pointing to your website increased.

 

Some say that submitting to SE's is just a waste of time.. and so I agree with them.. Because you don't have to.. Just putting your links to a well established and related site and those site that crawled by the bots regularly like forums and I'm pretty sure that your site will be visible to major search engines..

 

i manually submit mine to google and yahoo dont really care for the rest once you get in with this 2 the rest follow on their own
