    Sitemap helps your site being indexed fast by the google. Without that also it is possible but they make the indexing process fast and quick :)

    Sitemap help me too much. With google sitemap tool i can see my keyword listings also and errors in my sites. also.

    It works when they remove them. To get speedly indexed create a sitemap and submit to search engines. After it delete the sitemap and watch how the indexed page number rising.

    It really helps me alot getting indexed by google. And you really need it specially if you have so many pages on your website.

    From the word "MAP" It really helps locating something.

    i would say they help, especially if u have a large site,
    i saw my indexed pages increase when i first submitted my first sitemap.

    if you don't submit sitemap in Google although Google will index your website pages. But sitemap is an one way to suggest Google to index site pages frequently.
