using shortcut keys or hot keys are very useful especially in SEO..

it makes my work fast.. i always use ctrl + tab in ff!

when doing reports regarding directories, articles, social bookmarking, etc..

copy and paste shortcut keys are very important to me..

Well, while using them today I understood I forgot to post some shortcut I use very often...
    I mean
shift+arrows and shift+page up/down - end to select bunch of items
F11 to have a full-screen view (and back, off course)

I’m shocked at the number of people that use Windows shortcuts, friend often call me sad for using them.

Will update the post with more.

    Thanks Brian

I can't live without keyboard shortcuts, especially in software apps, like Photoshop and Maya.

I use ctrl + enter a lot in FF. Alt + d and alt + L are useful ones too.

I do use keyboard shortcuts in windows but I didn't see anybody using shortcuts when browsing the i-net.

here are some of the shortcuts that you can use when browsing with Firefox:

    Spacebar (page down)
    Shift-Spacebar (page up)
    Ctrl+F (find)
    Alt-N (find next)
    Ctrl+D (bookmark page)
    Ctrl+T (new tab)
    Ctrl+K (go to search box)
    Ctrl+L (go to address bar)
    Ctrl+= (increase text size)
    Ctrl+- (decrease text size)
    Ctrl-W (close tab)
    F5 (reload)
    Alt-Home (go to home page)
    Ctrl+Tab (rotate forward among tabs)
Ctrl+Shft+Tab (rotate to the previous tab)
Ctrl+1-9 (choose a number to jump to a specific tab)

Try them! It will make things a lot faster for sure...

any one use the space bar to scroll down in internet explorer? I use that alot, especially on blogs that go on forever.

    in photoshop:
    shift+ctrl+alt+i = invert selection
alt+del = fill with foreground colour
ctrl+del = fill with background colour

    Thanks, glad I could help.

I forgot to add the mouse shortcuts to the list:

Middle click on link (opens in new tab)
    Shift-scroll down (previous page)
    Shift-scroll up (next page)
    Ctrl-scroll up (decrease text size)
    Ctrl-scroll down (increase text size)
Middle click on a tab (closes tab)

I'm sure all of you or at least most of you know them but it'll be good to have them added as well.
