This is a large VBulletin forum dedicated to the topic of P2P file-sharing. It's a discussion forum and not a torent site. The site is updated with news almost daily. The Admins and Mods love the place, and will continue to update the site regularly. Due to some of the selling points mentioned below, I don't feel comfortable disclosing the URL here in the thread. Site has been PR7 for well over 8 months now. For the most part the PR7 is completely natural. About three months ago, I linked it up some more in order to maintain the PR7. In other words, it was already a PR7 (completely natural) since five months before I added more links. The site is also DMOZ listed.

Here are the VB stats:

The site has made $1,600 in three months with Adsense (December 12, 2005-March 12 2006).

I have nine outbound links in the footer of the pages site-wide. Three are from a very long term client. He is paying $400/month and will continue to purchase ad space. The other six are to my own sites. If you were to put these spots (the ones I'm using myself) on the market, you could make another $500-700 easily.

The site has 35k vaultage. The 35k vaults on thier own is ad space probably worth mid $xxx/month.

To get a sense of activity, there are normally 150-250 users (most are guests of course) online at any given time.

I'm in no rush to sell this site, so will continue accepting offers till I think the price is right. Screenshots will be provided later tomorrow, when I sit down to answer all PM requests.

Asking price: Considering offers above $18,000

If you add up all the income mentioned above, the site is worth more than $2,000/month to me. $18,000 is nine months revenue. If you don't like adding the income from the spots I'm using myself then the site is still generating $1,200+/month. Even in this case, the asking price is still under 1.5 years revenue. Either way established forums sell for more than two years revenue.

One major factor I forgot to mention is that this site is NOT being monitised through YPN. We've all seen sites making huge figures with around 1,000 uniques/day from YPN. If you have a YPN account, and you replace the Adsense with YPN, or GEO target the two or something of that nature, this site can start bringing in over a grand a month from YPN also. I'm aware of this, but because of not residing in the US, YPN is not an option for me.

That site has done really well, I remember it from when it was for sale a couple of years ago, congratulations .... now if you had of just posted the URL I might have bid, it's become a matter of principle now .
