[$450 BIN] Dead Gaming Forum with 6000+ members & 90,000+ posts

I am selling my *pretty much dead* gaming forum with over 6,000 members and more than 90,000+ posts.

First let me tell you that the site is using a carbon copy (the only carbon copy!) of another forum's database that was originally on vBulletin. I converted the forum to MyBB and installed some SEO plugins to avoid duplicate content penalty.

Without further ado, the site is located at Gaming Trek [.] com

This forum has major potential and a lot of content. It's already being crawled and mass indexed by Google. I see good rankings with this site and with so much content you really can't go wrong.

I also have an active team of super moderators that'll stay on.

No offence dude I am not trying to bash you or anything but dead forums don't bin at $450. My dead forum OnlinePCtalk.com is trying to be sold at $100 and even that is hard!

 

Don't use his thread to advertise your site, that's just lame. He can put the BIN at whatever he feels like...thanks.

 

If your wanting to sell cheaper shoot me a PM. for dad forums I cant go that high. Content is out dated and would have to try and get member base back up and active.

Seems like a lot of leg work on something dead.

1) what does SEO plugins have to do with duplicated content? As far as i know, duplicated content stays duplicated content even with SEO mods installed.

2) Can you make it a vbulletin forum again?

3) Is the original site still online (the one where you copied the DB from) ?

Yet the WHOIS data shows:
Domain Name: GAMINGTR*K.COM
Creation Date: 24-feb-2008

The domain is only 1.5 months old.

In this context, what do you mean by "dead" ?
Do you mean the whole content was copied from another forum, and Gaming Trek [.] com was never a forum in the first place? (you just copied some content into that domain?)
