adsense has very sophisticated technology and it can track lot of things that you cant imagine. its not really hard for adsense to know where the visitors coming from. its very risky business in my opinion

i`m not sure about the referral trafic > search trafic => investigate
one could have a large amount of gaming websites for example , and have his banner on each one , getting big amount of trafic from there.. wich would be > than search trafic .. dont think thats "ilegal"

What if he had a dating adsense site setup, and sent traffic to that page via adult sites.

    That is legit, right?

No, i think you are plain stupid. I have websites that have referral traffic more than 95% and they have not been banned by adsense. Where you got the idea that if referral traffic> search engine traffic you ll get banned?

It seems most people are just stating "I think this is illegal" yet those that have posted this have no solid ground to stand on. There are numerous ways of traffic generation for websites, and not all of them revolve around gaining raw search engine traffic, so the statement of referral traffic > search traffic => FLAG is not true.

As always with Google, if you are unsure if it is "legal or illegal" email and ask the Google Adsense team to check it out.

Besides, getting traffic is one thing....getting them to click is another.

trust me that's not wroth, after few days all traffic will be gone and you will be unable to earn nice money ( which you can with adult site if you know what you are doing ).

The traffic would still be there if he was banned from Google Adsense, he'd just have to find another means to monetize it.

Honestly he ought to be redirecting the traffic to an adult program which would probably earn him much, much more money, and not risk losing any income.
