Animal Liberation Front is not a terrorist organization in my mind. The fact is, they have never killed anyone. I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but I like them!:) ALF.

That has to be one of the ugliest and hardest to read websites ever.

I don't like how the word terrorist is attributed to anyone and everyone these days.

You think? I like the site because it's packed with info. I registered for their forum but found out afterwards that the FBI monitors it. I am probably in the FBI database now. "Rebecca, the most dangerous fugitive from justice!" LOL :) No, all I do is sign petitions or what not.

When it comes to my own sites, the ones I care about, stuff like being standard compliant, accessible etc. matters.

Sometimes perfect is just plain. That site really hurts my eyes. Plus the people in balaclavas makes it look like they are nuts.

You don't wear a balaclava when you fill out petitions, do you?

I am only a vegetarian (no meat or seafood). I feel guilty about it because the egg and dairy industry is extremely cruel to animals. I promised everyone several months ago that I was going to be a vegan, then sucuumbed to the power of cheese. I feel like a hypocrite in that area. You know, vegans are not even allowed to eat sugar because there are bones in it.

LOL. I am actually very law abiding, and have never been in trouble with the law.

Yes. Our sugar is filtered through bone ash filters. Most vegans will not eat sugar because of this.

Sorry about going off on a tangent here, but vegetarians have just GOT to read this:

    http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=grill

The author (Maddox) has even been contacted by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) about the article; you can find PETA's response at the bottom.

    P.S: I don't hate vegetarians :p

Maddox is a talented writer and extremely funny. But, I don't think he is really getting the point made by PETA. It is rare to find such politically incorrect, strongly opinionated rants anywhere. Even though I don't agree with some of the stuff he says, I like him. Did you read his 911 conspiracy post?:)

Well, to be perfectly honest, I don't get PETA's point either . Please note Maddox's point:

PETA is all for the "limiting" of animal slaughter, NOT the "elimination" of it. The PETA correspondent says in the email:

But then, you're STILL killing animals by being vegetarian. As Maddox says, the only way you can stop contributing to the suffering of animals is by sowing and harvesting your own food... something people will never do because:

    1) They've already "done their part" to "save" animals, thereby warranting their incessant bitching about people eating a damn piece of meat.

    2) It's too inconvenient.

So again: by being vegetarian, you're STILL responsible for the suffering and death of thousands of animals. Now, what exactly is PETA's point anyway?

I'm not shallow or self-satisfied; I'm willing to listen to reason.

Oh yeah, and I DO think Bush knocked down the towers (so I disagree with Maddox on the 911 article :p)
