Redesign almost Complete - Need Links (PR2 will move to PR3 Link)

My company is almost finished a complete redesign of our business directory.

The new redesign now sits on a PR2 based URL and will be moved to a PR3 URL once we have completed all testing.

We are now accepting links for our new look Newfoundland Business Directory (www.newfoundlandbusinesses.ca/links is the temporary URL for our redesign)

This will replace the old business directory that is located at the PR3 currently residing here. I have turned off the submission portion of the old directory. If you have submitted here, it will get ported across in a few days when we relaunch under the new design.

For those people who have previously submitted to the old directory, please DO NOT submit again in the new directory. We have an export utility developed which will port your listings across to the new directory.

Please note, this is NOT a regional directory, we are accepting QUALITY links that contains QUALITY content, offering QUALITY products/services.

Links containing Pornography, Adult Content, Pharmaceutical, Gambling, or anything that is deemed inappropriate will not be approved. Dating sites are OK, links to actual Brick & Mortar pharmacies (if you own one) are OK.

All links will be verified and manually approved, so please be patient.

If you encounter an error or any troubles with this new directory and the new, or happen to get any error messages, I would appreciate a PM.

My editors are telling me that most of the links have been approved. They are working on a few more.

Some comments that they had about the links submited were that several sites were duplicates, and simply pointed to subdomains of the same company .... and there were many links that were for pharmaceutical type products.

As well, the Submission guidelines state only English sites or sites that have an option to be read in English. There were several sites that did not meet the criteria.

I sincerely apologize for those links being rejected.

There are several others that are awaiting approval, so please be patient.

This is the testing phase of our template & submissions and will be moving to it's permanent home before this weekend is out and will be at a PR3 based URL.

Plus, we have a media campaign that is kicking in after the weekend in one of our niche markets and will be promoting this site through that campaign.
