"Domain name pioneer Rick Schwartz has just announced the sale of one of his most prized possessions for a whopping $11 Million. Widgets.com has sold for an astronomical sum, surpassing even Rick's own expectations: "I can't believe this. I was just giving up on the domain name industry and next thing you know, wham!!!" Rick's previous sale of iReport.com to CNN now pales in comparison. The self-proclaimed "Domain King" has also announced the continuation of his blog: "You know something? there's more of me to give and I want to share my experience with the rest of the domain community... the game needs me."" Got to look again at my portfolio This domain game nuts selling & buying. Whats the most you have sold a domain for ???
The most I ever sold a domain for was $7100, but that also included a forum, web pages and a blog. Can't say I have much else in my portfolio that could fetch that amount, but if someone offered me a cool million bucks for my flagship site, I could be persuaded to part with it.
That's some nice money, would love to own that sorta sum. I would invest into buisness online and offline buy a house, nice car put a lot of it away and yes, give a lot to charity, ect.
Thats a fantastic sale Domain is more than 12 years old Where did you get the news from? Whois still shows original owners info.
