In Need Of Advice

hello to you all experienced and novice,
I have a question regarding Google referrals. I am thinking of creating a website in which I will direct users to download firefox from my website. There will be about 5 pages on the website. Im trying to think of a way to advertise this website or make it popular. Do you recommend blogging about it? creating banners and buttons for people to use on their websites? What do you think is the best way to expose this website to so much traffic?

You didn't mention if you want to promote using the free way
(and the long way) or you want to put some money.

Create a few Squidoo lenses. Focus each lens on a very specific niche topic related to your website and link them to it. This will help to drive highly targeted search engine traffic to your site.

Yeah I think you are going to have way too much competition. Usually I don't recommend going after real "popular" products or services because there's many other people doing the same. I can't even think of ways for you to advertise since people can just go to mozilla itself.

 

That may be a quite difficult since there many who has services same as yours. Try advertising on more links. Just be ready with your budget for your advertisements.
