Check Clearing Info In India

    Hello people i was just wondering how much time does it take for a adsense cheque to clear in india from any bank account for eg:canara or Axis Bank
    So can anybody who has got cheque can tell me the time duration it took to clear the cheque and get the money in ur account

    Takes two days.

    If you don't have a Citi Bank branch in your city, the cheque will be treated as an outstation cheque and will take much longer....may be even two weeks.

    Yup. 2-3 days for local cheque and 8-14 days for others.

    True not more than two days if you are in a city.
    In the case of adsence getting check through post is the only time taking process as for my knowledge.

    but why do u people prefer checks ??? There is a Westren union Its Fast too WHY don,t u use it???

    Clearing - 2 days in SBI but citibank should be there in d city as check after u have deposited is sent to clearing to reserve bank where citibank does clearing....

    Adsense checks r great but adbrite cheques are Bank Of America cheque so takes 30 days for clearing...

    ^^ Yes AdBrite checks as they are in USD takes a long time. If they were CitiBank checks it would have been much faster as there are branches in India!!

    Friends,

    I have deposited a ICICI bank,mysore cheque on 18th of this month in Citibank. Amount is deducted in ICICI bank, can you tell me how long will it take to credit to my account...As i heard that 2 weeks is the processing ime...will it take tht much time?? any of you have idea on ths?

    Is its true for every city bank in india .In one branch of city bank in small town (But there is a citybank branch) it took 30 days to got money from adsense
    cheque.

    Is it true for big cities only ?
