    Did you notice whether these 'ugly' ads produced more clicks? It may help with ad blindness...even if it's not pretty, it gets noticed.

    I am Irish and my first impression was that they were grape leaves, not shamrocks. I guess that is because they tumble in a little squiggle. I have that kind of seasonal stuff turned off in my account, I guess, because my ads look the same as always.

    what i dont get it is...google says no to people putting images next to the ads, but they put images in the ads. The images in the ads attract attention to it, why are they opposed to images next to them? It seems a tad hypocritical to me.

    I still think adwords advertisers should get the option to upload a little image with their ad, so it can display with an image on adsense sites.
