this topic needs to go with politics and religion imo.
i have many gay friends and love them to death. people are people. we're all human and only live once, why judge people for who they want to be?

my boyfriend's beautiful and that's all that matters!

and yes it is a 'shameful lifestyle' just because you are different and you aren't the majority, and it's not widely accepted. it's about the same feeling as being hideously ugly - that'd be the best comparison in terms of how it feels from a day to day basis imo.

I dont think its shameful. Just because a 2000 year old book says its wrong doesnt mean its wrong.

Totally agree with people being able to do what they do, and as long as a gay couple (male or female) are in a stable relationship, then I am fine with that. My concern is for the moral well being of the children involved when the example they are being set is one of promiscuity and a lack of commitment. I should also add that I feel the same way about heterosexual infidelity.

The point is, wherever you're bisex or straight, you set your own standard. We should also accept this group of people as what they are in our community.

Some people tend to confined this people to one area or conner. No need to isolate them. Give them their right to express their views.

Set your own standard yes, but when the standards you are setting are corrupting the core of society (I am talking about the disloyalty, not sexual orientation), then it becomes a concern for society.

Many of the problems in society stem from the fact that some people feel it is acceptable to mug others for money without remorse. They have no remorse, simply because over time acceptable standards of behaviour have dropped and dropped until eventually the standards acceptable to them are no longer acceptable to society or the law of the land.

It's NOT shameful! People are all the same. If they are happy that way, so be it.
What really matters is the innerself. I dont care if they are gay or lesbian, as long as they have a good heart.

Well, im in a lesbian relationship and very very happy.
my gf is a lesbian and a wonderful person.

people should not feel shameful if they are gay/lesbian. they should be proud of who they are. This is a free world, anyway!

Dude, please read my post, I said CLEARLY. I am NOT talking about sexual orientation. As su8ch I agree with you that I also can see no connection between people who mug people and people who are attracted to the same sex.

This is what happens when people reply to posts with preconceived Ideas of what a post says without reading it.

I was talking about the breakdown of society caused by parents not showing a good example to their children. I was SPECIFICALLY referring to the earlier posts about bi-sexual partners who were bringing home multiple other partners in fornt of their kids.

Hopefully now you can better understand my post in the correct context.

No pproblem, this is a touchy subject, and it is easy to misread the angle of the thread. Guess I should have quoted who I was responding to ;)
