My article site?

    just after some basic seo help on my article site in my sig

    Do the urls need making more se friendly
    any other advice would be great

    Url's should always have keywords in to help with your rankings for relevant phrases. Other things to consider are title tags meta data and then links, links, links these are the key to success.

    The top kw you are trying to target should be in your url, it sure will help but you can only target a few phases per url

    To generally improve your articles, you can apply to them Latent Semantic Optimization. For example, for a certain topic there will be a perfect pack of words related to it, called ContentDNA. Its a bit more complicated than this, you can read on the net about this but.. you can include roughly 20-30% of it in your articles, and since search engines partially rank sites according to how much they match with the ContentDNA, it will be a big plus for you.
