    even if it will host adult pics ..
    what is main problem a what is da best way to make it :)

    I'm not an expert but the free image hosting market is really saturated. Having said that, most image hosts (as long as they are promoted) seem to do well anyway. I guess people are always looking for the faster, bigger image host.

    Adult image hosting it's a niche too, but don't expect to kick the top. I run www.HostedImage.net and recenlty got the www.PhotosWith.us (for free online album photos) and I can say that is going well and well.
    I noticed that because I do not allow adult and other illegal photos my website popularity gain faithful visitors. I manually review from admin all the upoloads of the day and anything that does not comply it will be removed.
    It depends of how much you will promote your sites, I personally focused on SEO and after 3-4 months of work, today I enjoy good results from google.

    just my 2 cents,

    copyrighted image, and child p. will be 2 main problems.

    And probably there will be hundreds of free adult forums hotlinking those photos and it will just cost some money without income

    The niche seems saturated to me. Unless you'll heavily promote and become the next imageshack its not worth the effort IMO.

    Also adult pages cannot use google adsense on them.

    I used to run a site called mypixnow.com and I got quite a bit of traffic. I am now selling the full php source and template of this site. It is a very nice turnkey script for anyone wanting to start a professional image hosting site.

    Hi,

    i've always thought it could be pretty risky running an adult image hosting site, especially if you get people uploading illegal images. You would be responsible for that and it would take a lot of your time to moderate it, plus if word gets around that your site hosts illegal images then it will look bad on you.

    None of this would be your fault, but it could happen.

    The cheapest image hosting I've seen is through Amazon S3... You use an api to store images in the Amazon cloud. However, I don't know what their TOS is on content.

    The key to hosting an Adult Image Host is selecting the correct webhost/server location. I run a torrent tracker site that is considered illegal in the US and sites like it cannot be hosting within the US. I use a webhost in the Netherlands and I am allowed to provide torrent services, as well as post any adult content I want as long as the people in the photos are of age. I do not want to spam there link in the forum, pm me and I'll point you in the right direction. Hosting from $5 and up.

    Im from the netherlands and its not allowed to host warez sites here I know that for sure! Check http://www.anti-piracy.nl/english/english.asp for more info. Its only allowed to download music and movie's. But not uploading...
