SO, I want your opinion. Here is the thread. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=749802 Well i just found a button where you can dispute feedback that was left wrongly so I reported him. He makes offer then asks for payment info and then never pays and disappears. Tells me its my fault since I told him impossible to do a .cn transfer in the time frame allowed on this sale. He never replied and I even PM him again to see whats going on. All he had to say is i changed my mind and I would be cool, but he never replied until the second I was leaving neg itrader. Was so weird I am literally pulling up the itrader form and I get a PM from him. I am sure no one would be mad at neg itrader if they deserved it, but this was bs. What do yall think.
you mean you left him negative itrader for him not responding to you within the time frame you stated? and he left back negative itrader after you left him one? if so, why? buyer may change their mind and have difficulties to log in or check pms or emails. Waiting is neccessary. plus it is just 1 side of the story so far to see whats up and who's fault.
thanks for your opinion but i guess you didnt even look at the thread. if you make an offer and then ask for the payment info and tell the seller you are paying for the item that usually means the buyer wanted the item. when the buyer doesnt reply to your emails for 2 weeks after they tell you they are paying thats abandoning the sale and should have neg itrader. if you dont want the item and want to back out at least have the decency to email the seller. he never did.

I did read the thread what I am saying is buyer wishes to buy it at the moment but 1. they didnt get reply when they are strongly wishing to buy and at the time of the reply which maybe later, buyer changes mind (even few minutes count in getting the buyer will strong urge ) 2. buyer change mind or wish to contact you but have difficulties to access to contact to emails losts or during the 2 weeks have you check if the buyer's "last activity" is recent? was buyer inactive for 2 weeks or active? When he have actually check your messages, it may have been only few days left till the Expires 3-31-08 expiration and you've already left feedback I am trying to help you both out because it seems itrader flaming war as in getting back each other's going on now.
i dont know how you do business, but when someone says they want it and ask how to pay for it and then never reply for 2 weeks thats not how you do business. There was a delay of a week till i told him i accepted his offer and even then he had to look at it again. i didnt force him to make offer and he did on his own will. YOUR ARGUMENT IS ONLY VALID IF HE EMAILED ME TO TELL ME HE CHANGED HIS MIND. HE NEVER EMAILED ME ANYTHING!! i actually got his email today right as i was leaving the itrader. instead of saying hey i messed up, i dont want it, he says how its my fault and i should get neg itrader. thanks again for your opinion.
my last post mate: 1st. -rep is what should be really given at no doubt, but not -itrader solely 2nd. it appears nothing is being considered and reasoned for the cause/delay. I know how you feel as the seller and how it is to sell almost expiring domains, but.. I am just telling you to consider the reasons behind for the buyer not emailing or contacting you. There are MANY members on here who have been on and gone for few weeks due to internet problem and such making them cant check pm or emails but back later.. ------------- it is not mentioned the time frame that will take to trasnfer the .cn domain and appears thus the buyer purchase thinking it'll be few hours trasnfer deal as with other domains. and now going back to "the reason for delay" you will see when the buyer get a chance to check email. PM and see the message saying .cn trasnfer time frame will take longer will certainly understandbly make buyer back off considering expiration date is less than timeframe to transfer. --------- And not all people think alike and different in doing business but to majority of sellers, so buyer telling you should receive neg itrader doesnt mean he is going to leave one and you should leave one first. Most do business in the manner where regardless of buyer, "customer's right" stays and seller have to always reply in resonable calm manner and be considerate of reasons behind everything, not blmaing the buyer solely.
Looks like he changed his mind at the last minute - Maybe he went to pay and didn't have enough money in paypal, maybe his paypal account was limited, maybe his baby started screaming right after he made you the offer. Someone can change their mind up until they hit the button to transfer the funds. It's irritating and frustrating because you thought you had the sale but not wrong on the buyers part. It would be the honorable thing for him to get back to you but he doesn't have to do that either. Negative i-traders because someone changed his mind?! That's just WRONG!
You advertising a sales on DP is considered as an invitation to treat. The potential seller replied with an offer. For a contract of purchase to be binding, you will need to accept the offer. This was not done, in this case, no trade was being conducted. There shouldn't be leaving of Itrader in the first place.
I've got to agree that, as irritating as it may be, it's the buyer's right to back out from the transaction right until the last minute. Although it's good manners to he doesn't need to let you know he has changed his mind - his lack of contact should tell you that anyway. If I go into a shop, put something in my basket and then walk around the entire store before deciding I don't want to buy it does the manager bar me from his store for changing my mind at the last moment? Do the people working in the shop expect me to go and tell them: "Sorry, it's not really what I want so I'll just go and put it back on the shelf." No. So you shouldn't have given him a negative iTrader in the first instance in my opinion.
Report him to the Admin for proper action. But unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to remove that negative itrader point.
