I saw it the minute it changed. I opened it up, searched, went back and it was black :O
I was like "What the hell!?". Then I read. lol

 

log out > turn off pc > turn off lights > take out fuses everywhere
cut lines of your neighbors too they'll thank you

 

I tried that one time... Didn't end up working too well

I just know earth hour by now and the time here passed 10 hours already

 

Just another marketing gimmick by Google.

And it worked because everyone on the net is talking about Google going Black.

 

I'd say it worked extremely well.

 

DP would have blow a server from everyone screaming ( by posting ) "Google Is Gone!"

I believe this is just a fake attempt.. google doenst care about the earth , they have their eyes on Mars

 

Google are great for getting involved in things like this even if it does make there famous page look crap

 

Hello everyone here is why there doing the black out if we all turn off our lights in our house for one hour we save on energy.

if we did that every summer when it is like really really hot out we would not have black outs.
or brown outs

we would be saving energy....

Google India page looked as bright as ever. Probably, we have a lot of energy (?) to spend rather than save for the future

 

Not a chance in the world of that happening. Google is way too greedy. Just think of all the advertising revenue they would loose for shutting down for one day?

 

Also saw that, any ideas why the brief change.
