    Hey,

I was wondering what kind of new function you would like to see in Google Adsense. I know people from Google are reading these forums, and they would like to have feedback.
Personally, I think it would be great if our reports showed the IP's from which clicks are coming, and the referrers to see where a visitors that clicks is coming from. This would be usefull, because I can then add content that would be more interesting for those users == more revenue.

What do you think about this?

naah, buddy they won't do that :) ..but I think they can atleast tell from which country the click was so that it can help us in customizing the content.

I am sure a feature that would benefit MindBuster would be an account level blocking system.

It would enable a publisher to block unwanted advertisers at the account level, such that sabotage by jealous competitors or undesirable advertisers are no longer possible.

I'd like to see more detailed information without having to make channels. For example, statistics broken down by the page an ad was displayed on, or by ad size. Maybe even which ad was clicked on each page (maybe automatically numbering each ad based upon where in the html they showed up).

Of course custom channels work, but it gets to be a pain when you have a few sites and want a "top banner" channel, "sidebar" channel, etc for each site. And then if you want to break it down page by page.... well it starts to get really time consuming.

I agree... would save me the monthly subscription to another service I use to track AdSense clicks if Google would just simply provide this information which I know they have saved on their servers somewhere anyway.

self-clicks and impressions by publishers(us) should not be considered. While testing ad-layout itself i generate almost a 100 impressions. which go on to decrease the CTR :(

all of the above, plus allow us to customize the font, doesn't need to be all fonts, just the most common ones.. tahoma, verdana, arial, times, etc.

Be able to tell google which sites we will display / authorize our adsense code on. At the moment it is far too open to those intent on causing damage as they can set up a domain, put our code on there and then repeatedly click our ads until we are banned. If we could specify the sites that we allow our code to be displayed on then all clicks from elsewhere could be ignored.

    That's a very good one :).
    Woow, lot's of reply's.
I think the remember me cookie is a good thing too, very usefull. Really annoying that I have to login everytime when I want to check my stats.
Also something like SMS alerts who be nice, or customisation from ads ( as said before ).

I would like to see a definitive process that you need to go through to get your adsense account renewed, in case your site is banned.

Also, a pre-banning announcement to let you know that you are about to be banned. They could stop you payout for this period, but at least give you a chance to defend yourself.

From this forum and other like it, it's clear that people are setting up businesses here, and depend on their Adsense income. To have that income cut off without notice, and without recourse through a defined system is bad business, and totally unfair to adsense publishers.

I'd like to know if my ads convert for the advertisers (generally, not advertiser specific). Would really influence my decision to re-enable content ads in my adwords account.

Another I just thought of that I'd like to see would be a 'notice' if it detects you are using too many ads on a page. While I realize it simply doesn't display the extra ads, I'd find it helpful anyway for the times I do slip up.

I will have to add my vote for having a setting to only authorize your ads to be displayed on certain sites (your sites). This will got a very long way in preventing a lot of "competitor going to get me banned" type fears. That way you'll be sure somone won't be able to get your Adsense code and use it on a ToS violation site to get you banned.
