Right now, my site has double traffic since my last offer and over 10,000 members in the social network. The only problem I see, is that people usually purchase for 3 months or more to get a bonus or a discount, which makes the deal saturated for 3 months since then, rather than just having adsense and watching how daily money starts to grow. The whole point of the thread is to check if you guys find better forums to sell advertising, or other methods, as a direct partnership with the advertiser is way better than any AdToll, AdBrite, AdSense, AdWhatever. congrats, DP definetly can be a great tool to not only learn and stay on top of things but also to sell goods and services, this is why on DP stuff like forum rep and itrader really do matter
Digitalpoint is indeed a great place to get leads and make some supplemental income off sites which you own, or content which you have created. I've probably spent what you've earned on scripts and content for sites which I own, and it's paid off immensely for me -- essentially I have the other side of your story, it's great to hear that it pays off for all people. You need to back things up with a decent website and it's so easy.. Also create reputation, I'm still wondering if I should release my http://www.mylol.net/advertising as a post here, as my two previous ones, with same prices and doubled traffic, wonder how fast will the offer saturate.. It usually saturates in 4-5 days, I might try and see if I can do it in 1 day, though the whole point here is not to sell everything, is the make the most profit.
Congratulations! It is better to sell advertising as a direct partnership with advertisers (me :d) then ad networks! Partnering with advertisers gets you a more secure income where ad networks could ban/ smart price you you at any moment. Its good to use both through.
