i'm planning to use plimus as my payment processor

i'm coming from a country where paypal is not practical! do you guys think that i can use plimus to accept paypal for link selling and seo related work ? i'm planning to accept plimus payments from my website! everyone here know that we dont have a fixed price for seo and other service related solutions! how can i use plimus for a business where i dont have any fixed price ? please advice me

I don't think you can use Plimus for non fixed price product since customers can't input the price they are going to pay for your product.

 

Actually, there is two methods you can achieve it. One payment would be to create a different Contract for each of your customer, each would have its own price and description.

The other method would be to tag the Override Price tag to your Order Link. You will have to enable 'Allow Override Price: ' on the Contract.

For example, I've set up this Plimus Link for this fictious product

Typically the order link would be
https://www.plimus.com/jsp/buynow.jsp?contractId=1710480&currency=USD
Where I set the Price as US$50.

I've rigged it to have the Override tag for a price of US$750

https://www.plimus.com/jsp/buynow.jsp?contractId=1710480&currency=USD&overridePrice=750

Or I can rigged it to US$25

https://www.plimus.com/jsp/buynow.jsp?contractId=1710480&currency=USD&overridePrice=25

yeah Plimus is good processing and of course u can use as non-fixed cost payment gateway, eddy write correct,
main problem with Plimus - API and IPN - here is bad IPN and no any API for development...
