How to get my blog verified under the google webmaster tools?

Discussion in 'Google Sitemaps' started by dairyman, Mar 29, 2008.

I have a blog and submitted the sitemap to google through webmaster tools. The problem is verification. Google gives two options to get verified.
    1. Add a meta tag
    2. Upload an html file
How can I add a meta tag or upload an HTML file by using the blog.
Any help in resolving the problem would be appreciated :)
    Thanks

I do not think you need to submit a sitemap yourself if you are using blogspot, google will create a sitemap for your site and get the sitemap itself.
