Put a high price on domains, etc.
Not so much as to sell them, but to get the pr value.
pr as in press release.
There are a lot of sites on the net that do nothing but pick these high priced sites up and list them on their sites as high priced sellers.

Then, there are companies and individuals that will buy a domain for that price because of their name, company name, or product name.

Also, as in this case, the seller has an ebay store.
This will get more people to come to their store.

Listing fees are not that high, but the selling fees are going to be a killer!

 

Hey, if he/she can get those kinds of prices for his/her domains, I'll be more than happy to put my domains on consignment with him/her and pay 'em a 10% "finders fee" if he/she can do the same for me (after all ebay fees have been deducted of course...)

If it works for you, will put ALL my sites through them.
Then we can all get rich!

 

I list a bunch of names in my Ebay store. Have sold zero. Got a letter asking if I wanted $5000 for a domain I listed for $300. I think it was from Nigeria.
