Do you guys think Live.com will become a alternative to Adsense/Adwords?

I think that if they stay together, they WILL try. And you?"

Or is that what adcenter is??? For a place thats a week old, and it already has one, not making sense :S

I know that but isn't MSN owned by Microsoft?

Adcenter, I heard bad about. What about for adwords?

Basically, is there a future in this?

AdCenter equals Adwords - not AdSense. The Live Concept of Microsoft will receive a boost through Windows Vista, so it's good to take it in consideration.

Ok so does it work that when people search on Live, the results actually pay, like who posts it on their sites?

Has anyone out there heard about WideCircles.com. It seems like a way better service then wasting money on PPC. Apparently they are using refering websites ( forums, blogs, wiki, etc. ) and have a viral word of mouth distributed approach to it. My friend told me he got around 100 visits from single post which cost him $0.40c. I am going to give them a try today . In case you are intrested here is it.

If Microsoft buys Yahoo, yes, will be a good competitor for Google's AdWords/AdSense program.

2 years old and microsoft still has nothing comparable to adsense.

if nothing else, this thread reminds us that microsoft moves slower then a turtle. and yet, some people want microsoft to buy yahoo.

i highly doubt it..because google has too many adsense users....so Adwords advertisers will always get a wider coverage.

If Microsoft had brought Yahoo! then they could build a search engine simular to live.com that could seriously challenge google, if that doesn't happen google will keep it's market share for sure.

    Best

The problem is Microsoft is already challenged. :D

With the bankroll Microsoft has, look at how miserably they failed in the search market. IMO Giving them control over Yahoo is not the answer.

They have a huuudge business to take care of:
operating systems, a lot of software, games, hardware, web, programming platforms...etc. of course they move slow...

Is like saying that the Earth is spinning very very slow. But comparable with it's size...it actually moves very very fast :)
