Yeah, I wrote it and spent $40 at prweb.com and it goes on Google News and other places. I will analyze all the traffic and referrals from Digg & PRweb and all the other sites featuring it and post the results.

It will be interesting to see where the traffic comes from.

Thanks for the opportunity. I will try your system out.

One minor point. You may want to make sure the html for your back links is written in compliance with current standards so that pages will always validate. The line break tag was expressed as <BR> instead of <br />

Don't know, it uses the PR at the time of the signup based on the toolbar PR. If you think the PR it finds is incorrect then let me know and I will check.

Its the PR of the links page that it uses rather than your homepage.

    Two quick questions:
    1) The link we see reported in "My campaigns" are done only once? If so, you should make sure to do some sort of cron job to verify websites at least once a week to verify if link is still existing
    2) Related to 1), could you add a link to the exact page where our link is listed for verification (if the cron isn't done yet).

The concept is really great so far, but I think you're just missing a good part of what PHP could accomplish for your community. Think dynamic, cause now it's once you've been checked, you're fine. (well I think, I didn't tested)

We have spiders visiting the sites to verify all the links on a regular basis.

In your Campaigns section you can view the links you have gained so far along with their PR and verify them yourself at any time.

Ok, but it seems I just found a website that bypass (cheat) the system:

      <!--$pageHtmlInside

    LIST OF LINKS REMOVED

    $-->

    Code (markup):

Let me know the url and they will be banned. I will then ask anybody linking to them to remove the links.

Although the system is not foolproof any cheating will be found out pretty quickly and sites will be banned without question.

This idea sounds great to me and I've signed up. Unfortunately the technology on my blapper site is still in development. So the lucky guys who I've linked to have currently got site wide links for the time being. Doh :p

I like it, it's a fresh idea that could work. The only problem is that it's not really a pyramid as far as I can tell. 5 links per direct referral is not enough to compel people to aggressively seek referrals, and without referrals, there is no pyramid. You really need multiple levels of referral bonus to start the pyramids going. Otherwise if everyone just signs up and waits for their links and forgets about it, I don't see how the 2 for 1 math adds up.

mad4, I have signed up and had received 3 links so far ( it says that it owes me 20) but the thing is where is the site that I should link to?

Am I getting free 20 links just for signing up ? Although I welcome those free links :D , I'm just really confused here.

When I click Full Details it only shows the 3 backlinks.

So should I just sit back, do nothing and enjoy free 20 links?

Actually, you're not getting instant 20 links. You have to wait for new members to show up and register so you can get new links to your website. Meanwhile, you'll have to wait for them or wait for mad4 to change is linking method (maybe javascript?)

:D If there were no sites matching your category and region when you signed up then you don't have to link to anyone. We appreciate that sites don't want to link to irrelevant sites so we don't force it.

Once the site is established then there will always be sites to link to in all categories.

You are reaping the benefits of signing up to the site early on. ;)
