I know I couldn't believe it myself when I saw it but it did happen. The weirdest part of it all is that when I rushed to the site to see why they would pay so much I only found a page that was "under construction". No content, no banners, no ads the site just hadn't been published yet. So it only happened once. I looked around and found that same advertiser all over the internet on that day. They had so many ads out there I guess I was lucky to get a click before they pulled their ads or before they just ran out of money. My guess is that someone just didn't realize that you did not have to pay so much for a single click but it was too late and some of the money they spent went to me. I still visit the site every now and then to see if they finally put something up they still haven't. Please don't ask about the site that was advertised I can't tell you.
Hi ajsa, I don't think I can tell you that either. Also I tried to tell the full story so you can realize that it's not about the niche it was most likely a mistake from the advertiser. That "niche" doesn't pay so well typically.
Adsense highest per click does not exist if you are from other others, US and canadian clickers tend to give you the right return since advertisers want more demographic clicks so it really depends on where your clickers lives.
I'm interested in know how you knew what site paid that amount... Google does not give that information.
Since your tongue is tied, I suppose you only shared it so you can be congratulated for your wonderful luck!!! Good for you! Hope you will hit more sites like that!
Am I the only one who feels bad for the advertiser, who by the sounds of it spent a small fortune on Adwords that day.
