Such placement is already covered under the Policies, ie, MISLEADING layouts.

Exactly what I have been saying. Perfect blending is not allowed.

    Peace,

Google really are trying to get advertisers and publishers the best, at the end of the day Google are only trying to help people to make more money, and for business to get the best for their money.

I say this is a good rule to implement on Google's and its customers behalf.

still a lot of sites do it to get more click, there are more crap site than quality site and crap site care more about clicks than visitors. Look at this topic from just a few days ago, http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=762520&highlight=top the top 10 are all using ad in navigation position to mislead visitors.

and look at this one: http://www.surprise.com/children/11_to_13/guitar_hero_video_game.cfm , i put it in my mfa filter ... premium rip off publisher (scroll down onto their ad that look exactly like their listing content ...)

Lovely. I spent the entire morning rearranging my adsense blocks to go under the title.

Now, will have to go back and change this again.

Since 50% of one site is gallery, it was hard enough to comply with their terms.

It is just a tip. It is not against TOS.

Valkerie, I did not like AdSense either, and that is why I started using audio ads on my sites.

there has been so much abuse in placing adsense ads, we needed google to enforce this kind of policy long time ago. lot of publishers have been going overboard with their optimization and blending. however, not sure this is a policy google is enforcing or just some suggestion.

It's a policy. One of my sites is no longer getting any adsense ads
because of this (as emailed to me by Google). My other websites are
    unaffected.
