I still remember when you spammed our forum with this site. I suppose thats considered part of the "work" that your basing your price off.

 

When you use open source scripts, it seems like a very small reward to the script-writers that you credit them with a link to their site.

If you use an article you include the bio-box, right?

An article takes an hour or so to write, a script such as Mambo, or is it Joomla that you used, NickNick? took years.

Why not leave their tiny link at the bottom?

hadn't been back to this thread for a while. The system stopped notifying me for some reason and I didn't realize there were more posts. Man some of you guys are angry individuals.

The content is original (we hired a writer) except for the articles which I stated were just news updates. I did not claim them as original at any point.

As for the template. The copyright was stripped to stop attacks due to the security leak in the system. We had other sites that were vulnerable to the attacks and they had to be stripped and rebuilt. It was a lot of work. Hackers discover the sites by searching for the credit text at the bottom. The credit will eventually be put back up once we can fully update the script and make sure the site is secure. It was not malicious.

I'm not forcing anyone to pay for this site or selling something that is fake. I just put it up for sale. Simple as that.

To call someone a "fucking scammer" is a bit much. (comment left in the rep feedback.)

I just put up a site for sale. If you don't like it, fine. Say you think it's not worth it/a rip off/a waste of money or whatever and go away. I did not try to scam anyone or take their money through deceit. I just put something up for sale. I'm sorry that some of you are so angry over something so trivial.

I don't remember spamming the forum with the site. I think I posted it up for feedback once when we were first building it. Is that what you mean?

I did do some stupid things in the past though. If I did spam the forum with it, I apologize. I think that if you look through my other posts, you will find that I have not spammed or otherwise polluted the forum over the course of my time here.

I had one person make an offer but not follow through. Due to the feedback of the other members, I think I'll just let this thread die down over time and find something else to do with it. Maybe offer it to a tea company or something like that.

I don't want people thinking that I am trying to scam them on the forum. I've been helped here in the past and am very appreciative of DP and what I have learned from other members. I just wanted to float it in the for sale section to see if anyone would be willing to buy it. I honestly think it is a good site for the right person. (before I get flamed again by everyone. I know. It's a waste of time and not worth the money and so on.)
