After launching a new web site in December last year I have been having some really good results and the search engines were indexing the site regularly. Over the past few months the SE's have indexed most of the pages on the site and I was hoping that all of the pages would have been indexed by now. Problem is that the search engines have slowed down and do not crawl the site as often as they used to. This leaves a few key pages unindexed or ranked VERY low. Is there anyway I can get the search engines to index these pages more frequently (other than changing some fairly static text? Thanks
Create a blog at blospot and post links to the pages on it. It works well for me when I find one of my pages is not getting indexed.
True! Always link to your subpages also if you have important content on them.. This is by far the best method to get your subpages indexed faster.. Also make a googlesitemap as mentioned and a browsable sitemap for the visitors.. The easier the visitors can navigate through your site the easier se`s also can
to take it a step further, if you have a sub page that isn't getting listed. make sure it is linked off of the home page. Then exchange links that point to that page using anchor text. And pretty soon the sub page will come up, instead of the home page. And this makes it an easier sell with less clicks/pages/confusion. and to index your site quickly... create a site map, and publish the site map page to the SE's. Steve w/ Colorado Graphics.com
