Oh i'd say he gets it alright, hes just using this thread to promote his meaningless youtube plays, now thats got to be most stupidest thing ever, hundreds of thousands of plays and 1 comment, yeah that will work
Oh ... Oh ... I am getting there ... so you are saying that my previous stats and samples were being way to generous and I should lower the expectations ... the Play Per impression ratio will be even less and your chances of getting a play are reduced and the price paid per impression may be even less ... oh now I am getting there ... Oh wait a second ... does that make me more money than the entire 100 000 impressions sent per day .... oh so close 100 times the $3.50 would equal a lousy $350 between the total of 37 000 publishers/webmasters .... hahaha wow I didn't realise the daily impressions sent was so bad ... So what does that equal in financial terms ... $350 devided amongst 37 000 web masters ....
Look I am out of this thread ... I really do not care for PPP ... $350 dollars daily between the 37 000 Publishers makes me laugh, devide the $350 between the 37 000 publishers and see what that equals. It speaks more than these pushers can combined. My earnings per day equal 10000 of PPP publishers .... Just keep trying to convince yourself and others that it is worth it. I have earnt enough neg' reps and infractions from this thread.
yeah CIAO, you're very un-professional for an apparent representitive of PPP and NAA .... Nah ... plenty agree with me, just calling the previous guy a dick head - who was arguing with us a few pages back and who actually got banned earnt me a slap from the mods, then the pointless fighting against morons also gained me another neg' infraction ... so they're actually from the mod's - not supporters.
I'm sorry, but thsadmin and the others have made some good points. About the numbers, I don't know. Fans of Pay Per Play and other brand sound ads, or not, the bottom line is that most people do not like them. It has been stated, overwhelmingly, here and on other boards. ste1975, wants to know results from others. I haven't seen any on this board, and on that dumbass site, SitePoint. Unless I missed them? So the real question that needs to be asked, which I have asked already but didn't get a reply: Yes, you will make money. I will agree on that one, but if you lose money overtime.... I'm sure this Pay Per Play will indeed sell, obviously, but if most don't like them, which, in turn, will turn some away, does it make sense to use it??? That annoys the affiliates and the owners of such ads here, but, who cares. That is the bottom line. It would be different if the users are given a choice to click on the ads to start the sound. Are they??? For you newbies reading this, it's about using common sense. Isn't it?
Yay, someone who agrees The other thing is that the advertisers wont be able to track the conversion rates from their ads, so they can't track how succesful they are, and for that reason, may (or probably) will choose not to re-invest, unless they see their sales skyrocket. PPP has it's problems, and without the clickability, it's not going ot take off that much with advertisers anyway. -G
Its also about common sense where this is used. High-pathetically speaking, image your next visit to youtube and you hear an audio ad or some forum backend "User Control Panel" would you leave ?
All the ads are traceable to IP address and the websites they are played on. PS: Perry neither agrees or disagrees, he doesn't have a one track mind, hes well capable of making up his own mind about this discussion.
I like that shot of, "high-pathetically." Can I use it some time? Agreed, but that is a site where we all know sounds will come on. Would I leave? Of couse not. I'm there to see videos, which have sounds. I don't know, I guess if I wanted such a pay per play ad on my site, I would ask if they can create an ad where it will only play if my visitors clicked on it. I would then type in a good sales pitch underneath it to get them to click on it. I have seen thumbnail video ads where the sound is off from the get go. The users can see the ad playing, so they will, of couse, THEN turn it on, and then the video automatically starts over, with sound playing. Now that's an idea. I would warm up to that one real fast. Other than that, there is no way in hell I would have such an ad that plays automatically. I'm sorry, man, but because most users do not like them, many webmasters will pass. You simply are not going to get as many sales as you may be hoping for. But, of course, time will tell.

Not this again. It's just numbers put up. Yeah, and? You know, man, if you really knew what you were doing when it comes to advertising and promoting, you wouldn't keep hammering this on message boards that don't have that many visitors to begin with, and, especially when practically all don't like these kinds of ads. Those who have already tried it know the "facts." Like all the others said on this board and other boards, I don't like going into a site and be immediately hit with a sound ad. And I wouldn't put it in my site, either. If a guesstimate of over 50% don't like it, common sense says NOT to use it. Duh. Put in a "click to hear how you can save over $100 a month" ad instead. I'd use those. Others have said this, and I'll say it too....common sense.

You know, man, if you really knew what you were doing when it comes to advertising and promoting, you wouldn't keep hammering this on message boards that don't have that many visitors to begin with, and, especially when practically all don't like these kinds of ads. Please tell me were I am promoting this on this thread? Its old news and you seem to jumping on the bandwagon…I removed Pay Per Play from my sig as I want honest and educated feedback regarding the program…. Please tell me what the number of visitors has got to do with anything here…..this is webmasters forum and we are here debate about the World Wide Web. 3. Those who have already tried it know the "facts." They do, do they? Of course this is your opinion and not everybody’s, I would like to here views of these users that know the facts. 4, If a guesstimate of over 50% don't like it, common sense says NOT to use it. Duh. Well that means fewer than 50% do want to use it…. does it not? To me there’s a market even with you in-depth and some what amusing guesstimate, Summary at the end of the day this program will go live if you like it or not, as with all new ideas on the web they always come in for criticism, only time will tell, but it is my prediction that pay per play will become a huge success within the internet marketing world, both for advertisers and publishers alike, they have spent huge amounts of money on this program, do you think that they would have done this without conducting any sort of market research 1st? Ste
