I stored my book at e-junkie and they also have an affiliate program/set-up. I had a problem selling and getting affiliates with my first book. This is what I did - I found someone with a good list to do the emailing and selling for me and I split the profits 50-50. Also, find a seller on eBay who has a product which might be compatible to your product, and see if they will do a JV to their mailing list. I found two JV partners that way.

For the most part body language is pure crap :)~ and confuses guys all the more, and don't get me going on those ridiculous "pick up artists," but, man, that is one HELL of a nice site. Congratulations on the design of it.

I like the hidden chapter idea! But that comment lol. It's probably only because you've read all the other CRAP out there! This one is actually helpful and covers more then just the basics. Mailing lits...hmmm wonder if its worth it with just one book. Time to dream up more similar products I guess.

    "Hidden chapter"?

I must have missed that one.

I don't use mailing lists. Over half are from users who no longer use their account. Like, for example, Yahoo accounts. So you are paying for the entire list, even though many are no longer active.

They say that they are updated, but who really knows for sure.

If you don't have really any marketing knowledge.... maybe sign up with commission junction or clickbank and sell your product over there.... affiliates will be doing most of the marketing for you, so if you can get some super-affiliates you are set ;)

Everyone is saying clickbank. I guess that means we have to dump Verotel? I'll look into it. I was under the impression that verotel had affiliates too, but they certainly haven't found us any!

Yes, give away some books. When I was writing computer programming books, I made a habit of giving away several copies of each in some simple contest. Don't do it from your site, hook up with some other site (preferably one with a lot of traffic, of course). You're selling an ebook rather than hardcopy, but it's the same thing - give something away to generate interest.

If you pay 50% commission please state it here. Do you have a bonus scheme in place that would motivate affiliates to sell more?

great info, using affiliate elite and jacking up the price (and of course commission) should help you attract more affiliates, provided that you have great copy and sales process. :)

Answered your PM too, nice to hear from you. Yes it's 50% commission and we are okay with raising the price. It's a numbers game so if it means more numbers I'm all for it.
