There should be something to break google monopoly.

 

I predict great things for SearchMe. Google will remain strong, but it will be less important with SearchMe becoming popular and others following.

Yes, register and within a day or two you should be accepted in the BETA test program. Trust me, you will NOT regret it!

 

The No.1 power of any monopoly is the power to stay in monopoly easily. I don't see anything that special about searchme with enough guts to beat Google. At least not yet.

Technology and innovations themselves make no sense without market.

 

No outsider can come and beat Google.

Someone like Microsoft will have to buy it out and promote in order to have it an outside chance of beating google.com

Angilina : Yes you will have to provide your email to test it (because it is still in beta stage).

I have just shown SearchMe to some people here, and they all agree that Google would be smart to try to buy them out NOW.

 

It's a good one, hope it will stand out of the crowd after all Google is dominating the world search volumes and it's become more popular each single day if not hour, anyhow thank you for sharing the link.

I hope they come out of beta test soon cause a lot of people really dont have time for signing up and waiting for the eamil to deliver.

 

Thank you for sharing, I have submitted my email. It looks really nice. I think google, yahoo, or msn will buy this search engine in the future. They can't afford not to buy it.

 

The question is if the owners are willing to sell it or if they have the resources to make this happen and recognize the value of what they have.

 

Everybody has a price where their no becomes yes.

 

It's an awesome idea they have. But what makes google the number one search engine right now is the quality of results they provide. Unless seachme can top that, I still see google being number one despite the flashy functionality.

 

I think that we are visual beings and more and more people are going to make the switch from Google to Searchme.

 

Maybe, but a nice video is not enough to make me do that. I've signed-up for beta and wait to actually test it!

 

Well Google won't have met their match if SearchMe sell out to Google. But from the about page it sounds a lot like Ask.
